Baptismal/ /End of the Year Services

As I mentioned in the last post, this year has been extremely extremely busy. As I look back and see all that has happened and how the Lord has blessed our family I stand amazed. At times, it has been very hard but through it all we have seen His Hand moving time and time again. We had a baptismal both at the colony and the church here in town. The one at the colony was on December 27th and the one here in town on the 31st.

This is Walber. He was baptized along with his wife. We had a wonderful service this night with various men preaching. We prayed in the New Year and then afterward had a present exchange and then a big meal. We did not even get home until almost 3 in the morning.

Both Ana Paula and Poliana were baptized at the colony. People wondered how Steve did this. He put a small seat in the water tank and she sat on it, then he just tipped her back to baptize her. We had a church full this day. So many lost people. These people have been so cold to the gospel. Pray pray pray for this work. Afterward we had a big cookout.

Christmas Play

I am certainly late putting these pictures on our blog. 2008 was such a busy year for us and the end of the year started as the beginning BUSY! Busy but full of blessing. This year, I think, we had one of the best programs that we have ever had. No, it was not because it was professional, but because the program presented a very clear plan of salvation. We even had one teenager accept Jesus as her Savior the night of the program. That was well worth all of the practices.

Philip with Marcelo decorating the tree.

Mary and Joseph (Aurenice and Jerri)

Hannah and Sara. In this part it showed how we all sin. They represented 2 girls making fun of another girl.

The children did an entirely different program. Neysa Keller was responsible for this program. They did a great job!
