September October Prayer Letter

September-October 2009

Greetings in the Name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
Mark 16:15
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

As you know, we are state side now until June of 2010 for furlough. God has been so good to us since we have been back here, and He continues to work with the nationals that were left in charge of the work in Rio Branco.

While back in the USA, we are staying with Kelly’s folks on Lookout Mountain, GA. They have graciously rearranged their house for us. If you need to reach us please make note of our new address until June 2010: 109 Wild Acres Ln, Rising Fawn, GA 30738. Our phone number is 423-402-5127 and our email is stephendoolittle@mwbm.org.

These past two months have gone by very fast, and we have been very busy visiting churches. Since we have been back we have already traveled over 8,000 miles and have visited many churches. We have been blessed to be in several new churches and have seen some already take us on for financial support. This has been somewhat of an adventure for the children as well since we have already been in 12 states and Canada. Along the way, when possible, we have enjoyed some of our country’s history, which adds to the children’s home schooling.

While here, we are working on raising needed support. We are presently at 75%. Praise the Lord for the increase in support. The dollar vs. real has not been helping much, but God has never failed. It still amazes me how God can do so much with so little. If you would like for us to come by your church and share with you what God is doing and the doors God is opening up for us, please contact us via phone, mail, or email. We would love to come and be with you.

Stephen is constantly checking in with the people of the church in Rio Branco, and God continues to work in the church there as well. Both Adilson and Jerri have been doing a wonderful job keeping things going at the colony and in the city. They have also been working with other men to help out with the singing and bringing the devotionals on Sunday morning. Please continue to pray for these works.

We are still praying about the radio station and the many other opportunities that the training center facilities can be used for. We need help. We have already had some contact us who are interested in coming to Brazil. If you are interested in serving the Lord on a short term, long term, or life term, please contact us. We would love to have you come.

Please pray for us as we travel, and for Kelly as she home schools the children. Many days this home schooling has taken place in the car. This is challenging for Kelly and the children.

We cannot express enough the kindness and love that has been shown to our family since we have been back. We have been spoiled. The churches and individual families that we have visited have treated us so well. Thank you so much.

Once again thank you all. You have been so faithful in prayer and financial support.
