Finally Back

This is a picture of my dad, Paul, and my stepmom, Jo.

I am finally back. I orginally had planned to stay one month in the states, but because they decided not to do the triple bypass on my dad because of the condition of his lungs, I was able to shorten that time. It was good to see him and encourage him. I was also able to visit his mom, my grandmother that is 87. As good as it was to see family and friends, it is even better to be back home. 3 weeks is far too long to be away from my sweet husband, who carried a big burden while I was gone, and my 4 precious children. I even missed the food here in Brazil. One thing that I did not miss was the heat. Yesterday it was 100 inside our house. Thankfully the Lord sent some nicer weather today. THANK YOU to every one that prayed for my dad and for me. I know that God was with me and with my dad. It is so wonderful to know people that are committed to praying for each other.
