We had a competition at the church in Areial. The grand prize was a new bike. Points were given for presence, Bible verses, and bringing visitors to church. Wilianne was the winner. She was so excited to have her very own bike.
Dear Aunt Kelly, You have been awarded the "Kindred Spirit Award" at my blog. Thank-you for your friendship and encouragement in the bloggin world - you are a true kindred spirit! Love, Jenifer
It is striking to me just how much you look like your father, Robert. I remember you, of course, from when I lived with your brother Phil in Highland Park. But I never would have suspected that you would so strongly resemble your dad.
Having been able to find your blog site from "The Doolittle's Prayer-letter," I thought I would check it out. And although you may not remember me, I shall comment nonetheless. For while we never became what is commonly called "close friends," both your father and your brother Phil hold a special place in my heart; your father for his gentleness, your brother for his kindness to me when I strayed so far from the God he dearly loved.
May God continue to bless you and your family as you serve him.
Joey, Yes I do remember you. It is really good to hear from you. I have had others say the same as far as looking like dad. How are you doing? Are you still working with plumbing? I could have used a good plumber when we built our house. Stephen
